REPRESENTATIVE SMITH TO HOST TRANSPORTATION TOWN HALL
BOARDMAN, OR. – Representative Gregory Smith (R-Heppner) to host town hall on upcoming transportation special session.
The town hall will take place at the SAGE Center on Thursday, August 21st. Doors open at 6:00 pm., and the program will begin at 6:30 pm.
“I am eager to hear what the citizens of House District 57 support, and what they don’t,” stated Representative Gregory Smith.
Governor Tina Kotek (D-Oregon) called a special session for August 29th to fund the budget shortfall in the Oregon Department of Transportation.
Smith is the Republican budget leader who represents the entirety of Morrow, Gilliam, Sherman, and Wheeler counties, as well as portions of Clackamas, Jefferson, Marion, Wasco, and Umatilla Counties.
